A Starry Night is our annual fundraising gala.  For 31 years, PNR's community network has come out to help us raise money for many charities and organizations including The Wheelchair Foundation, Sunflower Hill and others. 

Since 2014, Tri-Valley Turkey Burn has become a local community Thanksgiving Day tradition. 2024 saw record attendance of over 3,000 runners, walkers, and strollers. All of the funds from this event benefit Tri-Valley youth programs.  Read the Pleasanton Weekly article here











Throughout the year, we may also host other smaller fundraising events such as Tips For Chairs where PNR members waited tables at local establishment SideTrack Bar & Grill with proceeds going to The Wheelchair Foundation.  Several of our members have traveled to our sister-city Tulancingo, Mexico as well as other underdeveloped countries to deliver thousands of wheelchairs to those in need.
