What do I need to do to become a member?
To join, you must have a sponsor. Your sponsor will invite you to a lunch meeting where you can meet other Rotarians and experience a Rotary meeting. If you do not currently know any Rotarians, please contact the Membership Chairperson for help securing a sponsor.
What is the new member process?
You will be asked to complete a member application and return it, to Pleasanton North Rotary. Your application is then submitted to the Membership Committee for review. If the Membership Committee does not receive any objections, your application is then submitted to the board of directors for approval at the next scheduled meeting.
You are notified once your membership is approved. Your sponsor will introduce you to club members during the next regular Friday club lunch meeting that works for you both. At this meeting, you will receive a new member packet with information about the club, as well as your red name badge. You will receive a membership packet and the criteria for moving from a red to a blue badge.
Is there an orientation for new members?

Participation in our regular Friday meetings where you will meet the other members.
Personal meeting with an ambassador, or your sponsor, to help you understand club operations and expectations and to get engaged in our club’s programs/committees.
Meeting with a past president or other club leadership.
