"Service Above Self"
Service is at the heart of what it means to be a Rotarian.
Over the years, our dedicated members have raised and distributed over $2 million dollars to nonprofit organization in our local community, as well as internationally. We host annual funraising events to support and serve our community including the Tri-Valley Turkey Burn run/walk on Thanksgiving morning and our A Starry Night fundraising gala.
Here are some of our local community and international projects, fundraising events and youth programs:
Recent Projects
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
On March 9th, PNR joined forces with other Tri-Valley Rotary clubs to help build and assemble beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Their motto is "No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!" Together, we assembled 43 beds, as well as providing donations for the mattresses and bedding.
Night to Shine
On Febuary 9th, PNR members recently volunteered at the Tri-Valley Night to Shine event at Blue Oaks Church. NTS is a prom for teens and adults with special needs and it's a really fun night for all!
