Meet our 2019-2020 Board Members of

Pleasanton North Rotary

Doing acts of service in the community and around the world, and raising money for a wide variety of local and international organizations takes a large group of dedicated and passionate individuals.

Collectively, this group helps us continue its mission to do great things in the Tri-Valley and in the world. So meet our board. Better yet...join us for a meeting and meet the whole Club...about 60 members strong!

Dave Pitcher, President
A member of Rotary since 2002 and Pleasanton North Rotary since 2013. I enjoy being a part of our “PNR Family” and reaching out to help others in need within our community and worldwide. I retired in 2009 after a 43 year career in sales / marketing of building large scale commercial and industrial roof structures. No….”Structural Roofs”….don’t call me if your roof leaks! My wife and I love to travel abroad learning about many different cultures.
Michael Cherman, President Elect
I've only been a Rotarian since 2017, but it has been an amazing experience so far. I was looking for a way to give back to my community and Rotary, along with the "service above self" motto, was a perfect fit. Along with volunteering, I enjoy running, traveling, the beach, and I'm a dog lover!
Tami Hennegan, Immediate Past President + Fine Master
Tami is a cheerleader! First and foremost an American patriot raised to serve others, Tami is a nature enthusiast who enjoys birding, hiking, gardening, flower arranging, and tending to her koi pond. She also loves sophisticated hobbies like travel, sipping fine wines, theater and arts, and gourmet cooking. If you are invited to her party, GO! Just bring a dessert...Tami doesn't bake!
Stacey Blaney, Vice President + Charge of Club Training
Tom Powers, Treasurer
Tom is a brand new Rotarian having been inducted in February of 2019. He joined the board shortly thereafter. Tom is a huge hockey fan, following the San Jose Sharks since their inception and has also been involved in coaching youth hockey and helping administer the local high school hockey league. In his spare time, Tom is a partner in a financial planning firm in San Ramon.
Dale Carrillo, Secretary
A dreamer and optimist, Dale is a true Renaissance woman! Her passions led her to own successful businesses, study and work as a sommelier, build Habitat for Humanity homes, ride horses in Wyoming, and dine in the finest restaurants all over the world! Other days you can find her at home enjoying the view from her patio and snuggling her two poodles with a perfect pour over coffee in hand. Dale’s the friend to call if you need an infusion of enthusiasm or someone to kick your hiney into action.
Deb Covert, Sergeant-at-Arms
Technology Sales Professional working in Silicon Valley/Bay Area. Recently married and proud parent of two beautiful step daughters and two amazing boys (men!). Loves to paint, play the guitar and work out. Loves being a part of Rotary and wants to spread more kindness in the world.
Viviana Cherman, Membership Chair
Susan Dees, Club Service Chair
Susan is a wife and mother of three human babies and a farm full of feathers and fur. A Rotarian to serve and curious to find beauty in all around us, she is a graphic designer, amateur interior decorator, and an artisan in fine arts and jewelry. Susan loves to entertain and can cook healthy meals that taste too wicked to be good for you. The magic is she can do it all on horseback without a hair out of place or a smudge in her lip gloss!
Kevin Greenlee
I joined PNR in 2010 to give back to my community when I retired from a career in Finance and Accounting, and quickly became involved directing Youth Service activities for PNR and restarting the Rotary Youth Exchange program. I'm also the District 5170 Outbound Exchange Coordinator for the Youth Exchange program. Our youth are the future... Join me to make our world a better place through Rotary!
