Saturday, October 2nd - 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Alameda County Fairgrounds
This may be your best local opportunity ever to learn what the Avenues are and their importance for Rotary International’s mission and your commitment to place Service Above Self. The event will feature a Project Fair covering highly successful community and international projects implemented by many of District 5170’s chapters. Project organizers will answer your questions about project objectives, designs, financing and results.
The Avenues of Service conference is also a membership recruitment opportunity. Special half-price admissions for prospective members should encourage you to bring a friend, neighbor or business associate to discover how they too can enjoy the fellowship and opportunities for leadership as a PNR member.
Tickets are $50 per person for Rotary members, $25 for each guest and include parking, lunch, and an inspirational presentation by Rotary leader Linda Coble, the first woman president of Rotary District 5000 in Hawaii. In addition, every donation of $50 supporting discounted guest admissions will earn you two chances to win a four-day, three-night stay in Herb Ritter’s luxury two bedroom condominium at Squaw Creek Resort in Tahoe.
