In keeping with a time-honored Pleasanton North Rotary tradition, PNR Rotarians turned out to the Alameda County fair in numbers for a fun day of Horse Racing, libations, deep-fried Oreos, and maybe a little shopping. We even sponsored a race, and to our surprise, a horse whose trainer has the same name as one of our own Steve Sherman won that race. The biggest question is why we did not all bet on that horse? This event is always a great way to kick off our Rotary year.
