If you loved our last community services project in Sunflower Hill Gardens at Hagemann Ranch in Livermore garden, you will love volunteering follow-up work at the same site on Sept. 8.
The non-profit organization devoted to developmentally disability adults has asked for eight-to-10 volunteers to help make the garden more accessible for its clients. Work will begin at 8 a.m. and will most likely be completed by 10 a.m. Contact PNR’s Darcy DeCoite (ddecoite@gmail.com) for details.
PNR showed its muscle Aug. 11 with garden work and trellis construction at Sunflower Hill Gardens in Livermore. Another PNR crew showed its gusto at the site Aug. 8. Volunteers will again be welcomed to perform more garden work at an upcoming two-hour session Sept. 8.
