May 7, 2021 Meeting - The Return of the Bell

PNR is finally back to in person meetings at Haps! We are now offering hybrid meetings to our club members. They can attend in person at Haps or attend via Zoom as we are presenting live at each meeting.

President Orville reunited with the Bell

The PNR bell made a surprise appearance to coincide with the club’s first live meeting at Haps Original Steaks and Seafood since the start of the COVID-19 emergency more than a year ago. Club President, Orville (aka Dave Pitcher) will retain custody until it’s stolen again.



Phil Stone, PNR Rotary Foundation Chair, presented a prestigious

Phil Stone presents a Paul Harris Plus-3 Award to club member Wayne Yeaw

Paul Harris Plus-3 Award to PNR Charter Member Wayne Yeaw at the meeting. Named in honor of Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary International, the society supports global charitable initiatives. They have recently included water filters, toilets, hygiene training in India, a scholarship in Italy to research treatments to reduce infant mortality, peace-building seminars for teachers and students in Uganda, and treated mosquito nets and medical services for malaria prevention in Mali.



PNR President Dave Pitcher unveiled new club and four-way test banners at the meeting. The four-way test involves questions that guide whatever Rotarian say or do. They are as follows:


· Is it the TRUTH?

· Is it FAIR to all concerned?

· Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

· Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
