Rotary Club of Pleasanton North

Philanthropist Kenneth Behring, chairman of the nonprofit Wheelchair Foundation, invited Rotarians to join his campaign to assist the underprivileged. Behring, an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Foster City, promised to personally match every dollar Rotarians contributed to his effort to supply wheelchairs to people in need.

Pleasanton North Rotary is proud to announce that we delivered 286 wheelchairs to the needy in our sister city, Tulancingo, in Nov. 2002, and  more to Oaxaca in May 2003, in conjunction with the downtown Rotary Club.
